Trying to design a main menu interface for Frailty.. and it’s giving me more grief than it should. I’ve been working with the concept of keys and chests to play with the idea of ‘unlocking secrets’ in relation to the game’s theme.
A through D were made in chronological order.. At stage C and D I used Maya to model a 3D box and texture it.. but It’s not been resulting in satisfaction. Probably will scrap this whole interface and try another concept.

This somehow reminds me of the level selection screen in Braid. Continue experimenting, and see what works.
